"Fantastic hotel, fantastic location, right in the rainforest, the monkeys are everywhere!!! Top food, top flight - great honeymoon!"
     -- Tina & Dan

"Just to thank you for arranging our week at the Sofitel in Agadir. We had a great time. Hotel is superb and there were hardly any people around. We loved the hammocks and sunbeds, pool and beach. Played four rounds of golf on two good courses. Had good meals in restaurants. We did not like our friends' hotel, thank goodness you didn't let us go there! Good value week for good rest and a suntan with a short flight."
     -- Linda

"Just to say a big thank you for your flawless holiday arrangements... The standard of the hotel was outstanding and the location perfect. Really one of the best spots on the whole island. We had a really lovely holiday and would like to thank you very much for your assistance."

The Maldives are made up of over 1000 islands and each atoll consists of a group of small coral islands. Described as the closest place to Heaven, the islands vary significantly in their size and facilities.

Before booking a holiday we recommend you consider which type of island will give you the holiday you are looking for.

Some are small romantic getaways with few facilities, others are much larger with swimming pools, and choices of restaurants and entertainments. No news no shoes is the expression frequently heard, but some islands are much more sophisticated and more commercial.

Good advice is imperative, so give us a call before making any decisions.

Some of our favourites:

  • Paradise Island - one of the larger islands, good choice of restaurants, villas on the beach and good low key entertainments. Ideal for families
  • Laguna Beach - excellent facilities - stunningly beautiful - retaining a Maldivian atmosphere
  • Velavaru - peaceful, unique and unspoilt with beautiful beaches
  • Baros - a beautiful deluxe island retaining a friendly atmosphere. Excellent for diving and snorkelling
  • Bandos - excellent for families with an amazing range of sports facilities and activities
  • Hilton Maldives Resort & Spa - a deluxe resort with superb standard of accommodation. The new spa village here and restaurant - amazing!

  • Meerufenfushi - ideal setting for relaxation, great excursions, excellent snorkelling and a variety of cuisine
  • Soneva Fushi Resort & Spa - unique blend of Robinson Crusoe in splendid isolation with modern facilities, a deluxe resort

CLIMATE: The Maldives' temperature is constantly between 26 - 30°C

Two distinct seasons divide the year: The North East monsoon runs from December to April. This is the tourist high season when there is little rainfall, wide blue skies and and endless hours of sunlight. The South west monsoon runs from May through to November. During this period it is generally dry and sunny though there is sporadic rainfall and cloud cover(rarely prolonged enough to spoil a holiday). At the turn of the monsoon winds it is rough and rainy for a couple of weeks.
